Yes. Your wedding is too important to outsource. our experienced team will be covering your wedding day directly, in the unlikely event our primary photographer or videographer gets sick (Talking to you Covid) or injured, a replacement will be provided from within our team and partner pool.
Historically speaking our prices have ranged from about $4500 to $12000, depending on the options and requirements of your wedding day.
Yes, we have captured weddings thought the world. Domestically from Hawaii to New York, and internationally in Viet Nam, Bali, Australia, Mexico and the UK.
Local weddings are considered from San Diego to Santa Barbara and have no, or very minimal, travel expenses.
We’re great at finding the magic of each location regardless if we’ve been there a hundred times or if its the first time seeing it. If you have any doubt just review our many destination events, we see these locations for the first time when we arrive with cameras in tow.
We capture in both photojournalistic and editorial styles.
Yes we have several studio albums to view that are exact copies of what our clients ordered and received.
We capture digitally, both for photography and video. In our option digital cameras have surpassed film for most applications, and the look of film can be digitally replicated in post production for both mediums.
This is the part that I get to geek out on, so if that’s your thing we can geek out together.
For photography we have used Canon cameras and lenses since our inception. This remains true and we have moved with modern times and have current Mirrorless DSLRs with L series lenses.
For video we used cinema grade cameras for commercial and film use of 6K and higher resolutions.
Absolutely. We have a questionnaire to fill out after you have booked your wedding with us. In the questionnaire it will cover some of these topics. We also recommend that you send us any links of images you like, like a mood board.
We generally wear all black business casual and/or athletic polos or button ups with slacks. Also suits are not something we prefer to wear due to the rigid nature of the jackets. Let us know what accent color you will have for your wedding and we’ll try to incorporate it.
Yes. Engagement sessions are great to connect and we will capture some beautiful images. We also see how you respond to being in front of the camera and we will take note for your wedding day.
Yes. We will work with your coordinator and/or venue to make sure the locations are named on our insurance for your event.
We require 50% of the contract total at booking to secure your date; the remainder is due two weeks before your wedding date. We do not offer payment plans but if that is something you would like to do we could set that up on your behalf.
We accept checks, cash, zelle, venmo, paypal and credit cards. However we politely ask that you use checks, zelle or venmo.
Great! But we prefer to work with our own team as a first choice. It is dynamically better, for communication and flow, to have our own studio for both photo and video; and about 60% of our clients book us for both services. However if you happen to hire a team from another studio for Photo or video, we will do our best to make introductions and communicate with them before the wedding day.
Good results come to those who wait, like good cheese and wine, the post process shouldn’t be rushed.
Generally we anticipate that all post production will be completed within 5-6 months from your wedding date; For photography this will be much less, and you should receive your images online within a couple weeks to up to a couple months. For video this depends on the edits you have on contract, but the process of video editing and creating dynamic storytelling is dramatically more skilled and time consuming than our photo editing counterparts. During busier seasons our backlog of events amplifies the timeline deadlines. Takeaways.. Be patient with our creative editors 🙂
